Because apparently watching movies wasn't enough.
Why Did I Watch This was born from a simple habit: always having something to say after watching a movie or show, whether it’s a ridiculous plot hole, a frustrating ending, an unanswered question, a shocking twist, or the realization that I just wasted two hours of my life.
7.5
Spider-Man faces depression and loneliness while trying to stop the infinite amount...
6
A movie about kidnapped kids, their escape attempts and holy guidance.
3
A movie about a deadly fungus which makes weird zombies
Reviews of the good, the bad, the confusing, and the movies that made me question why I pressed play.
Reviews, season breakdowns, and deep dives into shows that somehow convinced me to sacrifice an entire weekend.
Movies and shows grouped by mood, genre, and whatever else I feel like putting together.
Breaking down confusing endings, wild twists, and those final scenes that leave you thinking, “Wait... what?”
The little details, clues, references, and weird things hiding in the background that you probably didn't notice.
Calling out things that don't add up, questions the story never answered, and moments that made me go, “Come on.”
THE RATING PHILOSOPHY
The score basically reflects my mood after watching it. Maybe I loved it, maybe I hated it, maybe I’m still trying to figure out what the hell I just watched. It’s just how I felt when the credits rolled.
I’m just a guy who watches movies and shows and almost always has something to say about them. Sometimes it’s praise, sometimes it’s a rant, and sometimes it’s just me trying to figure out what the hell I just watched.
So instead of keeping all those thoughts in my head, I put them here.
